A post war world, ravaged by alien Scavs. The last two Engineers tasked to repair drones hunting the Scavs discovers a crashed ship carrying humans and starts to wonder if all of this is true.
Tom cruise play lead Jack Harper the Engineer and Andrea Riseborough as his wife helping him. They do a great job of portraying the last two people on earth (or so they think). Convincing us that this post apocoliptice world is so real and so mysterious. Morgan Freeman Has a relatively small part but it is very strong and he makes you question your morals and what you can see when you read between the lines.
Then film is well held together and well directed for a newbie director who has only other directed Tron Legacy (which could have been a lot better). Although it does get very confusing at the end but if you where paying attention then you will be just ok.Once This film can draw many comparisons to Duncan Jones' Moon but that is not necessarily criticism as Moon was a stunning film and Oblivion is not far of it.
Considering its plot Oblivion has it good it is well rounded and keeps surprising you the only problem is that it is rather complex and it did not quit pull it of like a film like Inception has.
In all Oblivion is not a bad film it has some great action in it and some great twists as I have said the only problem is, it is confusing and that might just leave you unsatisfied at the end.
I want mankind to survive-69/100
