A Breathtaking Sci-fi thriller about two astronauts stuck in space after a freak accident. We follow there journey through the hostility of space and the battle to survive.
Gravity is widely regarded as the best film of 2013 and I total agree the visual effects are outstanding all though the movie. They give the feel of beauty but venerability. It if filmed such a way that can be compared to 2001 with lots of long shots which show how small people are in the vastness of space.
Thought the movie we only see 2 actors (Sandra and George) which means that we get very intermit with them, for this you would need a strong performance which both George Clooney and Sandra Bullock give to add another layer of depth to the films plot and emotional roller coster.
To give you a good idea of how enormous this movie is Robert Downey Jr was originally cast as Matt Kowalski (played by George Clooney) but had to drop out because the part was to big for him.
I highly recommend this movie It has you hanging on the hole way though. A perfect watch for all the family. If possible it is worth spending a little extra for 3D to get the full experience but is not necessary. A cinematic master piece and SFX at its best. A future Classic
