Based on the true story of Richard Phillips a captain of a cargo ship that go highjacked of the somali cost in 2009.
And yet another astonishing thriller from Paul Greengrass now joining the list which includes united 93 plus Bourne 2 and 3.
It was one of my favourite films of last year a great story which was filmed it a way that made you feel the tension and bravery that would have been on the ship. Tom hanks dose a marvellous job of the captain himself in several different scenes we get to see him portray a wide range go different emotions.
The lead pirate Muse (played by Barkhad Abdi) gives you a view from the other side of the trigger showing us why these people do what they do and he is portrayed to brilliantly by the first time actor.
This movie is definitely one to put on the watch list from start to finish it has you on the edge of your seat and gives you all that you would expect from a tom Hanks Movies plus some intense last seance.
